Columbia local Carl Edwards won 72 NASCAR races before job it an early career during only 37 years old. Saturday night, “Cousin Carl” returned to his Ozarks racing roots to be inducted into a Ozarks Area Racer’s Association Hall of Fame. Mike Scott had a possibility to collect Edwards’ mind on what he’s doing now, his lapse to a Ozarks and how most he misses driving.
Joining Edwards and Schrader in a Legend difficulty are former Ozarks-area racers Jim Campbell and James Taylor along with a late Daryl Williams. Pioneer difficulty inductees will be Mike Mittler, a St. Louis local and long-time NASCAR Truck Series group owner, along with Bob Aton, Chris Davis, Lonnie Snodgrass and Dan Williams.
