Spurs, Celtics assistants ‘gathering momentum’ in Hornets manager search, news says

Spurs partner James Borrego and Celtics partner Jay Larranaga have gained movement in a Hornets’ coach search, according to ESPN, that cited unclear league sources.

Borrego has been an NBA partner given 2003 and was a Magic’s halt conduct manager in 2015, tallying a 10-20 record. Borrego spent a initial 7 years of his career with a Spurs before vacating for a mark on Monty Williams’ staff in New Orleans. He returned to San Antonio before to a 2015-16 season.
