NEWARK, N.J. — Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal is opening a high-rise unit formidable in New Jersey’s largest city.
O’Neal was assimilated by city and state officials Tuesday in Newark for a news discussion to plead a project.
The Newark local partnered with New Brunswick-based Boraie Development and Goldman Sachs to build a $79 million complex.
The 22-story building will residence 168 units. It sits nearby a New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
O’Neal says he wants to deposit in things that make a disproportion in a city.
O’Neal and Boraie Development also have a $150 million unit formidable in Newark in a works.
The high-rise is scheduled to open by a finish of a year.
