Prosecutors: $2 million cheat intrigue to drive Olympics to Rio — and divided from Chicago

The boss of a Brazilian Olympic Committee was dangling Friday amid an review into a vote-buying intrigue to move a Olympics to Rio de Janeiro in 2009 when Chicago was in a using to horde a games.

Carlos Nuzman was dangling by International Olympic Committee a day after he was arrested and indicted of storing bullion bars in Switzerland.  The preference came hours after Brazilian authorities asked for assistance from prosecutors in Switzerland.

The IOC also dangling a Brazilian Olympic Committee and cut ties with a Nuzman-led Rio Games organizing committee, that still has delinquent debts.  The IOC pronounced a preference will not impact Brazilian athletes, who will continue to accept grant supports and be authorised for a 2018 Winter Olympics.

Nuzman is suspected of being concerned in a temptation intrigue of during slightest $2 million to assistance win votes from IOC members, who chose Rio as horde city in 2009 in a four-city contest. The losers were Chicago, upheld by then-President Barack Obama, Madrid and Tokyo.
