Victor Cruz isn’t prepared to hang adult his cleats yet.
The Giants expelled a receiver in Feb after 7 years, yet injuries over a past integrate of seasons have hindered Cruz’s efforts to get picked adult by another team.
“I only wish to play,” Cruz told a New York Post. “I’m only concerned to get on a team, concerned to play some football and concerned to see where we finish up.”
Cruz, 30, made one Pro Bowl with a Giants and was on their Super Bowl-winning group in 2012. However, he missed a good cube of a 2014 and ’15 seasons with injuries.
Even yet he posted 586 yards and a touchdown in 2016, it wasn’t adequate to keep him on New York’s roster, and now Cruz is acid for a new employer.
“I’m only concerned to see someone that wants me on their group and we finish adult being there,” Cruz said. “It’s my initial time being in this position, it’s my initial time being in giveaway agency. After being on a group for 7 years, we never know what to expect. I’m only vehement for this opportunity, vehement to be ready, and see where we finish up.
“You have to always stay ready, so we don’t have to get ready. That’s always been my motto.”
Cruz visited a Panthers in Feb and pronounced he met with a few other teams, yet didn’t contend that ones. He also pronounced he would like to reconnect with former manager Tom Coughlin, who is now the executive clamp boss of football operations for a Jaguars.
