Former NBA star Lamar Odom admits in his stirring discourse that he wore a prosthetic penis to pass a drug exam for a 2004 Olympics.
The former Los Angeles Lakers player, whose struggles with obsession have done headlines, pronounced it was “one of a biggest honors in my career” to be named to a Olympic men’s basketball team.
But, he writes in Darkness to Light, that fad incited to stress when he was told he would have to pass a drug exam to play.
“There was positively no approach we was going to pass. I’d been smoking weed each day that summer. Panic set in,” a book says, according to People magazine.
“We started googling ‘fake penises’ and complicated opposite ways to kick a drug test,” he writes. “After an downright hunt we systematic a giant, rubber, black c— to arrive a subsequent day.”
Odom had his drug-free tutor urinate into a prosthetic penis, that he afterwards strapped on for a drug test.
“I unzipped my pants and delicately slid a feign penis by a zipper hole. To get a pee to come out of a tip, we had to fist a missile repeatedly,” Odom writes.

Odom, 39, scarcely died in 2015 from a drug overdose. He married Khloe Kardashian in 2009 after a monthlong whirlwind romance. The dual finalized their divorce in 2016 after Kardashian detected Odom had been unfaithful.
