So when he was asked recently about a line in his arriving discourse where he says that there’s “no question” Serena Williams is a best womanlike tennis actor ever, he had no problem explaining a inclusion of a qualifier in his statement, that she’s a best female tennis actor ever.

“Well, since if she was in, if she played a men’s circuit, she’d be like 700 in a world,” McEnroe said.

McEnroe, who was being interviewed by NPR, compelling But Seriously, continued, revelation that Williams is “an implausible player.”

“The existence of what would occur would be we consider something that maybe it’d be a small higher, maybe it’d be a small lower. And on a given day, Serena could kick some players. we trust since she’s so impossibly clever mentally that she could overcome some situations where players would throttle ’cause she’s been in it so many times, so many situations during Wimbledon, The U.S. Open, etc. But if she had to only play a circuit – a men’s circuit – that would be an wholly opposite story.”
