The son of a former Alabama quarterback is set to join a Crimson Tide as a elite walk-on.
Spain Park quarterback Braxton Barker, a son of ex-Tide QB Jay Barker, committed to Alabama Monday night.

Alabama offering Barker a elite walk-on mark in early December.
The 6-foot, 180-pound Barker threw for 2,228 yards and 19 touchdowns as a comparison at Spain Park last season.
Jay Barker was a three-year starter for a Tide during quarterback. He helped Alabama win a inhabitant championship as a sophomore in 1992 and finished fifth in a Heisman Trophy voting as a comparison in 1994.
