Conor McGregor’s government group have denied any law in a rumour that he was knocked out in a ring session.
The rumours originated from a video interview with former two-weight universe champion Jessie Vargas, who allegedly claimed McGregor was knocked out as he lerned forward of his quarrel opposite Floyd Mayweather on Aug 26.
It was mis-reported on Monday that Vargas had pronounced McGregor was knocked out by British MMA warrior Bradley Wheeler.
In a video Vargas claimed that “the fighting universe is small, man… He got knocked out in sparring.”
In fact, Vargas was referring to lightweight fighter Brandon Rios, though McGregor’s government have changed to explain that conjunction Rios nor Wheeler had sparred with McGregor.
